Site Inspection Services - A cost effective and reliable Clerk of Works & Site Inspection Service, tailored specifically to represent Surveying Practices 'Employers Agent and CDMC' teams and Housing Associations 'Development teams' out on site, covering all areas South of the Thames and generally throughout the Southern counties, monitoring / overseeing Construction projects, reporting on programme, build quality, progress of work. Carrying out regular progress, quality and compliance inspections in relation to the Employers Requirements, building regulations and all associated processes. Carrying out condition inspections, handovers and End of Defects Inspections as required.

Formed in 2008, Site Inspection Services are very experienced Clerks of Works / Site Inspectors, having evolved from Trade backgrounds, to Senior Site Managers progressing to Contracts / Project Managers and, many years spent working directly for Chartered Surveying Practices, overseeing a varying assortment of Construction Projects as illustrated within these website pages. Owing to the recent downturn we have now decided to work independently, offering exactly the same standards of service on a very competative daily / hourly rate:-

*Review & interrogate the construction drawings issued by the design team to highlight any coordination discrepancies / missing information that may give rise to contractor’s claims.
*To act on behalf of the nominated Contract Administrator, checking the completed works against contractors valuations.
*Check contractors levels, OBM's / TBM's and initial setting out.
*Check that works are constructed in accordance with the design drawings, specifications and the  Employers Requirements.
*Check the quality of materials and workmanship.
*Attend design and progress meetings as / if required.
*Support the contract administrator, providing timely information on non-compliance etc.
*Liaise between the contractor and design team to provide solutions to coordination and build ability issues.
*Submit a weekly report to the contract administrator highlighting progress, outstanding information, non compliance, quality / design issues.
*Check and approve completed elements of the work for approving payment certificates by the Contract Administrator.
*Keep detailed site records of quality checks and instructions.

We have to date, successfully represented several Chartered Surveying Practices out on site, representing the ‘Employers Agent’ teams for Housing Associations / Housing Groups, Care and Education organisations, and can offer a very reliable service, working on an Hourly / Daily rate or a fixed term Project Arrangement, with all of our 'running costs' and expenses included within the rates.                                                              

We are in a unique position to be able to offer an extremely cost effective service that has been tailored specifically to assist Partnerships and Associations on a weekly, monthly or even a 'one-off' site inspection visit, undertaking all Clerk of Works & Site Inspection Services on your behalf, and also carrying out regular build-quality and compliance Inspections, snagging, de-snagging, End of Defects inspections, valuation checks, overseeing those projects that may, time and distance-wise, be closer to us than they are to you to readily inspect.
